Does DocFusion work on all Windows versions?

We support Windows 10, Windows 11 (including 24H2) and Windows Server 2016 and newer for the desktop agent. Older releases may run but are not in our test matrix.

Will scanning damage my drive?

Accepted Answer

The engine performs read-only operations on the source volume. Recovered files are written only to a destination you choose, never silently to the cloud.

Can I recover from a formatted SSD?

Accepted Answer

Often partially, depending on TRIM, over-provisioning and time since format. Our SSD module applies heuristics tuned for NVMe and SATA; results are never guaranteed.

Do you support Synology and QNAP?

Yes—NAS volumes and RAID layouts including SHR/SHR-2 are supported in professional tiers. Complex double-disk failures may require lab escalation partners.

How does billing work?

Subscriptions are billed through our portal (Razorpay). Invoices and tax details are available under Dashboard → Billing.

Is there a free tier?

Yes. The free tier includes limited scan depth and export caps so you can validate hardware before upgrading.

Where are servers located?

Accepted Answer

Portal metadata and billing records reside in regions selected for redundancy. Recovery binaries execute locally on your machine unless you opt into future cloud-assisted features.
